Construction Materials
Shell and base: the structure is made of high-density melamine chipboard panels, 650 kg/m³, with a thickness of 18 mm, with perimeter sides finely edged in melamine paper. The central body rests on an 18 mm melamine base, supported by square ABS feet, dimensions 40 x 40 x h 195 mm.
Open compartments, RN finish: to lighten the internal volume, the open compartments are built with panels reduced to 12 mm thickness.
Doors, GS finish: made of 18 mm thick melamine, fitted with 1 mm rounded ABS edges with 2 mm radius for maximum safety. They feature aluminium-coloured ABS handles and anti-corrosion treated metal hinges with a 105° opening angle.
Top and finishing side panels: the external finishing elements in melamine have a thickness of 12 mm and 1 mm ABS edges.
Safety hardware: doors equipped with locks use Yale-type cylindrical systems, supplied with a folding key grip.
Certifications and Safety Standards
Air quality and emissions: the entire structure uses panels with very low formaldehyde emissions, well below 50% of the strict European E1 class. The chipboard panels are also certified according to the rigorous North American CARB PH 2 and TSCA Title VI standards.
Fire safety: the sideboard materials guarantee certified fire reaction class Ds2, d0 – Dfl-S1.
Sustainability, CAM & FSC: the design and materials meet the requirements of the Minimum Environmental Criteria, CAM. The melamine panels can be produced, upon specific request, with responsible FSC® forest certification.
Technical standards: the furniture is designed in full compliance with EN/UNI product safety standards and tested by the independent accredited body CATAS.
