General terms and conditions of sale for purchases made on the website www.ufficiostile.com
The company Ufficiostile s.r.l., registered office at via Alessandro Stradella 65 – 00124 Rome, Companies Register number RM 961016, VAT and tax code 06049991000, sells, through the website www.ufficiostile.com which it owns, products and/or product compositions via the internet.
The terms of sale described below apply in compliance with the regulations on electronic commerce (Legislative Decree no. 70/2003).
1. Validity of the order and payments
We invite you to carefully read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before making any purchase. By making any purchase, you fully accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1. Contract
The display of Ufficiostile's offers on the pages of the website www.ufficiostile.com constitutes an invitation to treat. If you wish to purchase one or more products on the website, you may add them to your cart. Once you have selected all the items and the relevant quantities you intend to purchase, you may enter the billing details and delivery address.
Before proceeding to checkout, a summary page will appear showing the billing and delivery details for the selected products, their price and the shipping cost; at this point you will be able to choose the payment method.
Your order will then be considered your contractual purchase proposal addressed to Ufficiostile for the products listed. Upon receipt of your order, an automatic responder will send an email acknowledging receipt of the order, called "Order Confirmation", which does not yet constitute acceptance of your purchase proposal.
The sales contract with Ufficiostile will be concluded only when we send you an email accepting your purchase proposal, which will contain:
- An electronic invoice for your advance payment
- Information regarding the shipment of the product and the expected delivery date
Online purchases on the website www.ufficiostile.com can only be made using advance payment methods via credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
2.1 Purchase with payment by credit card or PayPal
Your purchase proposal will be considered valid upon receipt of payment by Ufficiostile s.r.l. Ufficiostile will send the customer, by email, confirmation of receipt of your order containing the key summary data:
- Order number
- Code and quantity of the products purchased
- Amount of the goods purchased
- Shipping cost amount
- VAT amount
and notice of receipt of payment. Within the following 24 hours, Ufficiostile will send acceptance of your purchase order together with a regular electronic invoice for the amount paid.
If Ufficiostile is unable to accept your order for reasons including, but not limited to, product unavailability and/or incorrect price entry, it will refund the amount paid via the PayPal platform.
2.2 Purchase with payment by bank transfer
Ufficiostile will send the customer, by email, confirmation of receipt of the order containing the key summary data (order number, code and quantity of the products purchased, amount of the goods purchased, shipping cost amount, VAT amount) and the bank details for making the transfer.
Your purchase proposal will be considered valid upon receipt of payment in favour of Ufficiostile. Within the following 24 hours, Ufficiostile will send acceptance of your purchase order together with a regular electronic invoice for the amount paid.
If Ufficiostile is unable to accept your order for reasons including, but not limited to, product unavailability and/or incorrect price entry, it will refund the amount paid via bank transfer.
3. Right of withdrawal
Where the conditions established by the Italian Civil Code (articles 1469 bis et seq. of the Civil Code) and by Legislative Decree no. 24/2002, or by Legislative Decree no. 50/1992, are met, the buyer may withdraw from the contract in accordance with the aforementioned rules and the procedures they establish, and shall be entitled to a refund of the price paid, provided that the goods, if already delivered, have been returned in their original packaging at the buyer's care, expense and risk.
4. Prices
All prices listed on the product pages are exclusive of VAT and shipping costs. On the website www.ufficiostile.com, the amounts of VAT and shipping costs are clearly stated both in the shopping cart form and in the purchase order form.
5. Delivery time
Upon acceptance of the order, the customer will be informed of the estimated delivery date. This date is purely indicative, and Ufficiostile will therefore not be liable for any damages caused by deliveries made after the indicated date.
The customer will subsequently be contacted directly by the carrier (national courier) to agree on the time slot and day on which delivery will be made.
6. Warranty
The customer is entitled to make use of the legal warranty provided for in the Civil Code. This warranty provides, among other things, that a non-consumer customer must, under penalty of forfeiture, report in writing to Ufficiostile s.r.l. any lack of conformity found in the purchased product within 8 (eight) days of discovering it, by registered letter with return receipt.
7. Returns
Returns of goods will not be accepted unless they have been previously requested by written communication to Ufficiostile and subsequently authorised by Ufficiostile, again by written communication. In the absence of authorisation for the return, the goods, even if they have reached Ufficiostile's warehouse, will remain at the buyer's disposal, and the buyer will remain obliged to pay the price, as well as storage charges, at a rate of 0.2% per day on the taxable value of the goods.
Returns must therefore be accompanied by the relevant return authorisation document, and must be carried out at the buyer's care, expense and risk.
The goods, once authorised, must be sent to the warehouse located at P.le dello Sport 1/b, 00047 Località Cava de' Selci - Rome.
If, due to the lack of original packaging, the goods are found to be damaged, Ufficiostile shall have the right to charge the buyer for repair costs or to refuse the return. Any replacements may only be made with identical products, or, at Ufficiostile's discretion, with other products of equivalent or higher value, upon payment of the relevant difference by the customer.
Given the semi-artisanal production of most of the goods and the use of materials of natural origin, any variations in the shade of finishing colours, or differences in the grain or porosity of the materials, cannot be considered "defects".
8. Competent court
Any dispute relating to the interpretation and performance of the sale governed by these general terms and conditions of sale shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Rome. Ufficiostile nevertheless reserves the right to bring proceedings before the court of the buyer's registered office and/or principal place of business.
